Starting in 2021, Three Rock Components came from the dream to make my own mark on the cycling industry, rather than simply follow suit. After more than a year of testing and development, we launched our first product in July 2022.
Products like our signature one piece stem, chainrings, seat clamps and bash guards are only the beginning. There is always more work to do and more improvements that can be made!

Design & Development
Product development is a never-ending process and there is always room for refinement. Countless hours have been spent in CAD, developing, testing and optimising designs.
My design ethos is to keep everything simple yet elegant and to not overcomplicate a design with unnecessary frills. Form follows function and every product gets rigorously tested through finite element analysis before going into production. Prototypes are then tested for months before going out to the public to ensure the best quality product for riders!
Responsibility
At every stage of the process there’s a consideration for our environmental impact. Little things like optimising the designs to reduce waste material, working with responsible manufacturing partners or to the source of packaging are all important for the future.
Everything is kept as close to home as possible and with our continued growth, we aim to bring everything in house as time goes on.
